Ovulation (LH) Rapid Test Cassette

SUMMARY

Ovulation is the release of an egg from the ovary. The egg then passes into the fallopian tube where it is ready to be fertilized. Immediately prior to ovulation, the body produces a large amount of luteinizing hormone (LH) which triggers the release of a ripened egg from the ovary.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Determine the day you will begin testing using the “When to Start Testing Chart”.
1. Allow the test, urine specimen and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30 °C) prior to testing.
2. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the Cassette test from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.
3. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface. Hold the sample dropper vertically and transfer 3 drops of urine (approx.120ul)to the specimen well of the test
cassette, and then start the timer. Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well. See illustration below.
4. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
